| Shannon had always figured she would die a cranky old woman and nothing more. No family, no friends -- just a comfortable place of her own in complete seclusion. It didn’t matter. As of that moment, surviving was all that mattered. Being a hermit just seemed to be the best way to go. Alanna believed that someday her prince would come -- but at the same time, refused to sit idly by and spend all of her life waiting for him. She vowed never to let go of her ambitions, and if that ruined her chances in love…well, she could have regrets later. William spent most of his childhood reading and was intent to continue this trend until the end of his life. Shakespeare and tea was all he’d ever need in life, along with the occasional phone call from a family member. He preferred Hamlet to humanity any day. Ben never really had a set plan for his life. He’d just go with the flow and see how things turned out.
